Featuring work by members of the Visual Art League of Lewisville, this exhibition celebrates the limitless possibilities of abstraction—where shape, color, texture, line, and form become the primary language of expression.\nAbstract art departs from literal representation, sometimes subtly and sometimes completely, resulting in compositions that evoke emotion, movement, and curiosity rather than recognizable objects. From gentle distortions of the familiar to fully non-referential explorations, the artworks in this show highlight the bold experimentation and creative freedom that abstraction inspires.\nThe Visual Art League of Lewisville will host an opening reception on Saturday, Jan. 10, from 7 – 9 p.m. in the Art Gallery. The exhibition runs Jan. 10 – Feb. 7, 2026.\n \nTo reach The Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left.
