“Through the Lens, A Photographer’s Journey” exhibition
Through the Lens, A Photographer’s Journey
Deb Kreimborg
Master of Photography
Aug. 2 – Sept. 27
For the past 10 years, Deb has been on art councils and volunteered for several art leagues and charities. Serving on the board of the Visual Art League of Lewisville has allowed her to explore the many opportunities that her community offers. She is also honored to receive many awards as she answers the call for art at the national and local level. Her artwork has also found a home in one of the leading photographic magazines, Lenswork.
Through the Lens, A Photographer’s Journey is a culmination of the passing years that tells her story. With each project, each portfolio, she becomes more enamored with the whole process of seeing. The curious part for her is to seek a deeper meaning in her artwork. She allows the image to guide her as she works in many layers of photoshop using textures, symbolisms, and filters as she delves deeper and deeper into the creative process. The reward will always be when she realizes what she started with is not what she ended up with.
She finds beauty in that moment.
These exhibitions runs from Aug. 2 – Sept. 27 in the Administration Hallway Gallery. Gallery hours are Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. and evenings when there are other public programs scheduled in the building.
