The Visual Art League of Lewisville presents a free workshop featuring artist Rebecca Rector, Saturday, March 7, 10 a.m. – Noon.
While you create an abstract painting, you’ll explore various watercolor materials as well as discover a variety of techniques and approaches to using watercolor. The instructor will demonstrate an array of approaches that will inspire you to continue painting far beyond your workshop.
- All necessary materials are provided
- You may bring your favorite materials such as brushes and paints
- Bring an apron or wear your painting clothes

The Grand is Lewisville’s home for the arts. It presents a variety of regional and national touring performers, art exhibits, and classes, while also giving the many arts groups in the greater Lewisville area a facility to perform and display their works. To reach The Grand from Interstate 35E, take the Main Street exit and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center. Please be aware that there is heavy road construction at the Main Street interchange with I-35E that will cause delays.
