Young Artist Training Program’s Summer Musical Theatre Workshop

34th Annual – 2026 YATP Summer Musical Theatre Intensive/Camp
May 26-29, 2026

Summer Intensive is the musical theatre educational event of the year! We will hold this technique-based workshop, offering both serious training and serious fun for rising 5th-10th grade students who dream of a career in the arts and are looking to improve their performance skills in the areas of singing, dancing and acting

Students come from all across D-FW to get the opportunity to work with our excellent faculty, and grow their skill set! Daily small group work with professional, experienced Master Teachers helps students of all levels grow in their craft. All are welcome here.

Alumni students have appeared on Broadway and national tours, at the Tony Award–winning Dallas Theater Center, won honors at every area High School Musical Theatre Awards competition, and shined in film and television, while also earning admission and scholarships to many of the nation’s top conservatories and university programs.

Students may also audition for a spot in our year-round conservatory and college preparatory program during the workshop! (Video auditions for the year-round conservatory/mentorship program are also accepted. Email info@ourproductions.org for details. Tuition Assistance available.)

The Grand is Lewisville’s home for the arts. It presents a variety of regional and national touring performers, art exhibits, and classes, while also giving the many arts groups in the greater Lewisville area a facility to perform and display their works. Its multiple performance spaces play host to a variety of events, including live music, theater, dance performances, comedy shows, and more. The center features the 294-seat Huffines Performance Hall, black box theater, recital hall, art gallery, and courtyard.

To reach The Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center.
