Old Town, Where It All Began

- The Greater Lewisville Community Theatre built in 1885 in Old Town, is the oldest standing building in Lewisville.
- Main Street Cafe was built in 1885 as a Victorian-style home of Dr. J.W. Kennedy, who unwillingly provided medical attention to Bonnie & Clyde.
- The Lewisville Feed Mill opened in 1886. Today, after renovation, it is a fine dining restaurant.
- The Old Well House in front of City Hall, built in 1927, was the first municipal building housing the water well and the town’s fire truck and was featured on the 1962 television show Route 66 filmed In Lewisville.
