Lewisville Grand Theater | Metropolitan Winds presents “A Season to Rejoice”

Metropolitan Winds presents “A Season to Rejoice,” a musical program of holiday favorites, on Sunday, Dec. 3, 3 p.m., in the Huffines Performance Hall at Lewisville Grand Theater, 100 N. Charles Street.

The Metropolitan Winds was founded in 1993 by volunteer musicians with interests in performing classical transcriptions, contemporary wind band literature, traditional military band selections, and pops music. Over the years, this audition-only group has developed a special reputation for vivid performances of film score wind transcriptions from Hollywood greats such as John Williams and Bruce Broughton.
