Lewisville Western Days: Wilder Blue
The Wilder Blue make their Lewisville Western Days debut, opening for the headliner on the Republic Services Main Stage on Friday, Sept. 25, 8:15 p.m.
The Wilder Blue began in 2019 when Zane Williams pulled together a select group of multi-talented musicians from the Texas music scene. Their debut album Hill Country (2020) and its follow-up The Wilder Blue (2022) garnered comparisons to early Eagles and 80’s-era Alabama by interweaving five-part harmonies with bluegrassy arrangements of folk-rock and country songs. Two more albums followed in 2023 and 2025, and the band has released two singles this year, including “Texas Women” with Tracy Byrd and the just-released “Chasin’ The Sun.”
Lewisville Western Days takes place Friday, Sept. 25, 4-11:30 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 26, Noon-11:30 p.m. Admission is FREE before 6 p.m. both days, and $15 after 6 p.m. for everyone except children 12 and younger, who are always free. Tickets will be available after Labor Day or at the event via QR code.
