Padrino Foods World Tamale Eating Championship Presented by Market Street

The Padrino Foods World Championship Tamale Eating Contest presented by Market Street returns to this year’s Lewisville Western Days! At last year’s event, Derek Hendrickson took home his first championship by eating 50 tamales in 10 minutes. However, Geoff Esper still holds the World Record set in 2019 – 95 tamales, 10 minutes. Will we see a new champion and new record? You’ll find out at High Noon on Saturday, Sept. 30, in front of Lewisville City Hall.
