The Wild Wild Weft: Celebrating the Art of Texas Weavers

The Wild Wild Weft: Celebrating the Art of Texas Weavers is a juried statewide exhibition featuring works by Texas handweavers. This exhibition showcases large- and small-scale pieces incorporating a diverse range of materials, concepts and techniques, from 2D and 3D art pieces to handwoven garments, accessories, and functional items.
Sponsored by the Fort Worth Weavers Guild, the exhibition runs Oct. 3 through Nov. 7. Featured weavers will also present demonstrations in the Art Gallery on Saturdays throughout October from 2–4 p.m.
Gallery hours are Tuesday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and during evening public events at the Lewisville Grand Theater.
To reach The Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center.
