About the featured artists:

  • Yoonsoo Nam is an artist who conveys the message of God’s light through painting and poetry. Her work spans a wide range of expressions, from capturing the supernatural spiritual world to exploring the fusion of fiber art with new media and creating abstract pieces inspired by the beauty of simplicity. Nam’s art not only offers visual beauty but also invites deep contemplation through its symbolic meanings.

Nam holds both a Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts from Ewha Womans University and a Master of Divinity from Seoul Jangsin University. She was honored to be the Poet Laureate by the City of Lewisville 2021-2023 and currently serves as the Director of Stream Art.

With 20 solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions to her credit, Nam actively collaborates with gallerists and interior designers both domestically and internationally.

  • Carol Bruno is an abstract artist whose work features touches of realism in her object interpretations. She uses multidimensional acrylic paint and modeling clay, occasionally incorporating everyday materials such as weather stripping, pasta, and kitchen utensils.

Her inspiration comes from the textures of natural elements and impressions drawn from her memories and photographs captured over time.

Carol studied at Hunter College in NYC and earned a BA from New York University.

  • Cha In Lee’s art originates from the simplicity of basic lines, which she views as fundamental components of both the material and artistic worlds. She explores how lines create beautiful compositions that surround us, attributing significant meanings to them. For instance, two crossed lines (X) can symbolize concepts like “NO,” “NOTHING,” or serve as warning signs. A hexagon, composed of six lines, evokes images of gemstones, chemical structures such as benzene, and spiritually represents love, compassion, and connection.

Through her work, Cha In Lee harmonizes the line and the hexagon, creating compositions that resonate on both material and spiritual levels.

She studied Fine Arts at Texas Woman’s University in 2017 and earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from Chungbuk National University in South Korea in 2001.

  • Jin Lee specializes in traditional and contemporary Korean watercolor paintings created on Jang-Ji, a traditional Korean paper made from mulberry trees. Her work focuses on interpreting human nature, often depicting women in surreal and dreamlike surroundings.

Jin’s artistic inspiration is deeply rooted in her experiences as a mother navigating the complexities of American culture, blending personal narratives with cultural exploration in her art.

She earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from Chung-Ang University in Seoul, South Korea, in 2009.
