Art Pop-ups
Encounter live artists creating art in various forms in Wayne Ferguson Plaza, 150 W. Church Street, on select Saturday mornings, 10:30 a.m.-noon, with Art Pop-ups in the Plaza.
Each week will feature one artist demonstrating live artmaking in the format of choice. Art forms can include painting, music performance, three-dimensional works, sketching, art-trading card creation, spoken word, and more.
This week’s featured artist is Chuck Hendrickson. He is a long-time Lewisville area resident, recently retired. His interest in creating art has spanned decades. He likes to sketch and draw portraits, and he paints in both watercolor and acrylic. His paintings encompass a wide variety of subjects, mostly done in a realistic manner.
Follow Wayne Ferguson Plaza or the Visual Art League Facebook pages for the latest details of the Art Pop-ups, including weather cancellations.
