Conexiones Culturales: Cultural Connections
an art exhibition celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

The City of Lewisville proudly presents Conexiones Culturales: Cultural Connections an art exhibition celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. The exhibition, curated by Jose Angel Hernandez, aims to celebrate and share the rich artistic diversity of Latinx artists living in North Texas. The exhibition will feature art by Odilia Laccarino, Veronica Medeiros, Catalina Currea, Lupita Murillo Tinnen, Tesa Morin, Steven Rodriguez, and Jose Angel Hernandez.
The exhibition will be on view in the Administration Hallway Gallery from Sept. 20 – Nov. 16, Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and during all public events that take place at the Lewisville Grand Theater.
On Sunday, Sept. 29, beginning at 1 p.m., a Sunday matinee of additional Hispanic Heritage Month celebration programming will include an opportunity to meet the artists in the exhibition, a screening of the award-winning film musical, In the Heights, and an interactive Latin dance demonstration by Dance At Legacy principal dancer, Zyriab. This program is free to the public and is being presented by Jose Angel Hernandez.
