Lewisville Grand Theater | “That’s not watercolor” watercolor workshop with Randy Meador
Randy Meador brings his high-energy, unorthodox workshop “That’s Not Watercolor” to the Visual Art League of Lewisville for a few days of fun and will forever change how you view watercolor and maybe art altogether. His wild workshops are always full.
Randy says, “This workshop can at times resemble a stage show or stand up routine, and it’s a lot of fun. You will not be bored, but I’m serious about watercolor, and I’m VERY serious about breaking folks free to paint like their hair’s on fire.”
And this workshop is designed to do just that… forever break bad habits and free artists from lifeless, dull, or timid watercolors. He also reveals secrets most professionals don’t know… secrets hard-won in the valleys and peaks of life. He coaches with a special blend of humor and virtue…and on occasion, a little “crazy.”
Who comes to That’s Not Watercolor?
“Evidently everyone,” says Randy. “At almost every event, I have an attendee who has no art experience at all. They come because they heard it was fun and wanted to try it, often with friends. On the other hand, I’ve been shocked at, and humbled by, the number of full-time artists who attend. And often it’s the first-timers that understand my techniques before full-timers.”
