LISD 2024-25 Art Show Middle School
The annual LISD Art Show features art from every school in the district. The season will begin by showcasing the talents of LISD high school art students, on view Feb. 7-Feb. 22.
LISD Middle School Art Show, Feb. 28-March 15
The LISD Middle School Art Show is the second show in the season, on view from Feb. 28 – March 15, and includes work selected by LISD middle school art teachers. On opening reception will be held on Saturday, March 1, 6:30-8 p.m.
LISD Elementary-West/Central, March 20-April 5
The Student works in this show selected by the elementary art teachers. Elementary-West/Central works will be on view March 20 – April 5. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, March 20 and Friday, March 21, 6-7:30 p.m. each evening.
LISD Elementary-East/Central, April 10-April 26
The Student works in this show is selected by the elementary art teachers. Elementary-East/Central works will be on view April 10–April 26. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, April 10 and Friday, April 11, 6-7:30 each evening.
All sections of the LISD Art Show will be on view in the Art Gallery of the Lewisville Grand Theater and available for viewing during gallery hours, Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. and evenings when there are other programs going on in the building.
The Grand is Lewisville’s home for the arts. It presents a variety of regional and national touring performers, art exhibits, and classes, while also giving the many arts groups in the greater Lewisville area a facility to perform and display their works. Its multiple performance spaces play host to a variety of events including live music, theater, dance performances, comedy shows, and more. The center features the 294-seat Huffines Performance Hall, black box theater, recital hall, art gallery, and courtyard.
