Mariposas & KLB Spring Clean Up
Keep Lewisville Beautiful is partnering with the City of Lewisville to host our 39th annual city-wide cleanup on Saturday April 12, 8 a.m.-noon, Thrive, 1950 S. Valley Parkway
In addition to the cleanup, KLB is teaming up with LLELA to celebrate our pollinator pals for Mariposas, a joint conservation event. The event includes a volunteer city-wide cleanup, educational activities, giveaways, and more.
This FREE Earth Day event will be held in conjunction with Keep America Beautiful Great America Cleanup and Keep Texas Beautiful Don’t Mess With Texas Trash-Off activities. Volunteers are needed for cleanup teams and on-site help. Both events are free to attend. Registration is required to volunteer and is open for groups and individuals to sign up now through Sunday, March 30.
Event Schedule
Spring Clean Up event, 8 a.m.-noon
Mariposas conservation and educational activities start at 10 a.m.
Cleanup supplies, a volunteer snack lunch, free volunteer T-shirts (first come, first served basis) and more will be provided by KLB for registered volunteers. Volunteers will be assigned one of sixty locations around town to clean and can compete for trophies. Last year, 200+ volunteers showed community spirit by working hard by helping to remove almost 2 TONS of trash from Lewisville streets, parks, and creeks. This year, with your help, we can pick up even more and help beautify our great city.

You do not need to volunteer to join us for Mariposas. Come out and learn with us about the importance of pollinators, paint flowerpots, participate in hands-on crafts and activities, take a look through a microscope, and more with LLELA and KLB staff.
